My name is Svetlana Svetlakova. I was born in 1986, in the city of Usolie-Sibirskoye, in Russia. I am a photographer. Member of IFO (Irkutsk Photographic Society). Many of my relatives are creative people: my uncle was a sculptor, my mother in my room drew on the walls heroes of favorite fairy tales, and my father took photos on film. 

EDUCATION AND WORK 2015 — A. Mitta Film School, A. Nosovsky camerawork in Moscow. 2021-2023- Favorite IVA — MFA, MPA. 

Participation in exhibitions and work in the theater influenced my creativity. New acquaintances, collaborations with artists, musicians and painters. By applying abstraction and alternative techniques in my work, I explore the duality that develops through different interpretations and associations. I have always been drawn to mythology and culture, being inspired by people, books, artists and film. I distort the boundaries between the real and the fictional, bringing a philosophy of creativity to contemporary artificial reality. I recognize the complexity of the art industry process, understanding that not only does each unique situation require a strong vision, but the end result is also determined by attention to various aspects of the project.

2018 -Diploma of I degree in the nomination “photography” FGBOU VO “IGU”, Irkutsk. 

2020-2021 -Diploma of the I degree in the nomination “photography” г. Irkutsk 2021 — diploma — photo contest “Peoples of Siberia: between the past and the future” Irkutsk.
